The Brontës Jane Eyre Postcard

In 1847 Charlotte Bronte’s famous novel in which the heroine, Jane Eyre, falls in love with her employer Mr Rochester, was published under a pseudonym, immediately causing speculation about the identity of the author. She died in 1854.
