The Brontës
The Brontës Postcard Collection
The Brontë sisters and brother Branwell, were one of the world’s most famous literary families and their home - Haworth Parsonage, now the Brontë Parsonage Museum - together with the surrounding Yorkshire moorland, greatly influenced their writings. In 1846 Charlotte, Emily and Anne published Poems at their own expense. Their father, Patrick Brontë, outlived all his children. The family are buried in a tomb beneath the present Haworth Church.
