Lewis Carroll Alice Through the Looking Glass Postcard

Carroll met Alice through his interest in photography. During a boating trip up the river in Oxford, he told Alice and her sisters the famous story. When published in 1865, with John Tenniel’s immortal illustrations, it was an immediate success.
